Final upgrades – Part 3
In this third and final repair episode of the KITT Trans Am series I’m going through changing the rear inner impact bumper, painting a KNIGHT INDUSTRIES logo on the air filter lid, swapping out the old indicator stalk with a brand new unit, installing T-Top sunshades, as well as replacing the broken T-Top drips rails and the respective weatherstrips with new ones. There’s even a little extra, watch the video till the end and you’ll find out!

Every since I started publishing videos of my KITT replica Trans Am, people have been asking questions about the iconic, yet still missing KITT dashboard. Although I’ve decided not to install it in my car and keep the dashboard stock, I want to share with you why and what alternatives I see for a possible 21st century KITT dashboard. Might give some inspiration to the film makers, should they turn the many reboot rumors into reality.
